So, if you were anything like me growing up, there is a big chance you were called a nerd once or twice (an hour!). I have always been a nerd. I am a book nerd. An old movie nerd. Definitely a Harry Potter Nerd and without a doubt, I am a HUGE Disney Nerd! It makes me very happy to embrace my nerdy title and roll with it. It may have taken me years to be happy about being called a name that probably (okay, did!) make me shed a tear or two back in the day, but now that I am, I couldn’t be happier to be mixed up with such an awesome group of geeks, spaz’s and yes, nerds.
Just what are these Disney Nerds up to?
The Disney Nerds is a great group of people who are passionate about their Disney obsessions, and to go along with feeding those obsessions, there is a Disney Nerds Podcast, a blog, and a Facebook Group. It just so happens, I help admin the group, I am a recurring guest on the podcast, and today I just wrote my first piece for the blog! WHAT?! Yep, look at me go!
You’ll start seeing me more and more on The Disney Nerds blog and hearing me more in the podcast, so check it out so you don’t miss anything. Throughout the year, the team has meet-ups in the parks where we all get together over an adult beverage in EPCOT’s World Showcase to take in the nightly shows, or scrambling around in a scavenger hunt through Hollywood Studios or one of the other parks. There’s never a dull moment!
